Authorities around Essex County have been notified of an armed carjacking that occurred in a section of Orange on Wednesday evening.
According to a preliminary investigation, witnesses in the area told RLS Media that the victim was meeting up with a potential buyer of his vehicle in the 100 block of Central Avenue when two suspects armed with knives and a gun approached and demanded the car just before 8 p.m.
Police officials confirmed that they are looking for two black males who took the victim’s gold 2010 Toyota Tundra Pick-Up.
The vehicle reportedly has a Maryland license plate number ”8DK-3092”.
The suspects were last observed heading Eastbound on Freeway Drive.
