Emergency responders are on the scene of reports of an explosion with injuries at a food processing plants in Union at this time.
According to preliminary reports, at approximately 9 a.m., firefighters responded to what being called an explosion at The Deep Food Indian Food processing plant located at 1090 Springfield Road.
Units arrived at the scene and assisted about four victims who suffered non-life threatening injuries after a small steam pipe burst inside the building according to reports.
Officials say one of the victims refused immediate medical assistance, but three others were transported to area hospital with various injuries including some hearing loss issues.
OSHA was called to the scene to assist in the investigation.

Union Township police confirmed a steam pipe exploded.
The incident remains under investigation.
