Two victims are being treated for non-fatal gunshot wounds after gunfire rang out in a section of Newark this evening.
At approximately 8:25 p.m., shooters fired several shots near 305 Irvine Turner Boulevard that connected the victims.
Police and EMS arrived and found a male struck twice in the leg and another suffering a bullet wound in his foot.
Both individuals are expected to survive.
The motive for the shooting is under investigation.
Police reported no arrests.
