Police in Paterson are investigating a double shooting that occurred in the city a short time ago.
According to police, at approximately 4:47 p.m., gunfire erupted in the area of Keen Street and Rosa Parks Boulevard.
When officers arrived, they found shell casings, but no victims were located.
While police investigated at the scene, they were informed but officials at St. Joseph’s Hospital that two victims entered the emergency room separately, suffering gunshot wounds.
Police said the suspects fled the scene of the shooting and remained at large.
The condition of the victims could not immediately be confirmed.
