A firefighter suffered minor injuries after fighting a fire that ignited inside of a house in Summit on Friday morning.
According to preliminary reports, heavy fire tore through a two and a half story house located in the 50's block of Morris Avenue at approximately 9:30 a.m.
Crews arrived to find smoke and flames coming from the second floor of the wood-framed structure.
Firefighters were able to knock down the blaze in under a half-hour with no other injuries reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
