First responders are on the scene of a crash that has two people fatally injured according to a spokesperson from the Plainfield Police Department.
The crash happened at around 6:30 a.m. in the area of 2nd Street and Emerson Avenue sending rescue crews to the scene where the victims were extricated from the vehicle suffering life threatening injuries according to the spokesperson.
The victims were transported to an area hospital where they later died the spokesperson said.
