The Woodbridge Township Police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding an overnight shooting at the Royal Albert Palace catering hall located at 1050 King Georges Post Road.
Middlesex County authorities have not yet fully disclosed the details of the incident.
The preliminary investigation reports that gunfire erupted at approximately midnight, triggering reports of an active shooter situation at the venue.
Police units promptly arrived at the scene and established a crime zone. However, no injuries have been confirmed as of 4 a.m. this morning.
The investigation is a collaborative effort involving multiple agencies, including the Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office.
