A violent home invasion burglary that occurred in a residential section of Orange had several armed males break into the home then stab an adult male, before forcing his teenaged son into a vehicle earlier today.
Details regarding the incident are continuing to develop but according to residence in the 500 block of Argyle Avenue, at approximately 3:10 p.m., suspects armed with guns and knives stormed the house and began to stab the victim.
Residents say the suspects then forcefully stuffed the teenaged boy into a Mercedes Benz suv then sped away from the scene.
Police in Newark located the boy a short time later within its city limits according to authorities.
There were no serious injuries reported to the boy and his father’s injuries were not immediately reported as life threatening reports said.
Residents on Argyle Avenue complained of consistent suspicious and ’sketchy’ activities in what they said used to be one of the nicer neighborhoods of the city.
”I've observed open-air drug sales on the block with very little assistance from city officials” one of the Argyle Avenue residents said.
The suspects remain at-large and the incident remains under investigation.
