Police in Newark are reporting that members of the Newark Police Division are investigating the deaths of two men found unconscious today.
According to a statement released by police, approximately 7:55 a.m., police responded to a residence in the 100-block of Montclair Avenue on a call of three sick or injured persons.
Responding officers located two adult males and one adult female unconscious according to police.
The two men were non-responsive and subsequently have been pronounced.
Police say the woman was transported to University Hospital for treatment. She is reportedly in critical condition.
Police are looking into if the fatalities were overdoses but have not confirmed at this time.
This incident remains under investigation, although the deaths are considered accidental at this time.
