Heavy police activity in the 200 of Pomona Avenue had a man barricaded inside a house and refusing to come out.
Police rushed to the scene at around 7:45 p.m and immediately requested the assistance of SWAT as they attempted to get a male homicide suspect to come out of a house according to reports.
There is a large police presence established and several blocks closed off at this time.
The suspect is believed to be the man wanted for questioning on the stabbing that fatally injured three people Saturday afternoon but has not been confirmed by authorities.
It is not clear if the suspect is holding hostages at this time.
UPDATE 8:34 p.m. This is the person of interest wanted in the triple fatal stabbing.
