A body found floating in the Passaic River in Kearny had authorities on the scene making a recovery.
According to preliminary reports, the body of a male was observed floating under the Pulaski Skyway before 3 p.m. this afternoon.
Kearny Firefighters and the New Jersey State Police arrived to find the body they recover the unidentified person.
Police did not immediately confirm if the person found is **Mr. Martin Ramos, 39, of Newark**, who jumped into the Passaic River on Saturday, October 21st in a failed attempt to rescue a friend who fell into the water on the Raymond Boulevard side of the river in Newark.
