Police and EMS are on the scene of a shooting with a female injured at a location in Jersey City.
According to preliminary reports, police responded to reports of a person shot in the 100 block of Woodward Street at approximately 5:50 a.m.
Units arrived and found the victim suffering two bullet wounds in her back at that location, according to reports.
The victim was transported to Jersey City Medical Center in an unknown condition.
Police have a crime scene established and an investigation underway.
