If you are headed out to work, expect delays on U.S 1&9 as police are on the scene of a multi-vehicle crash with injuries reported in Jersey City.
The incident originated at a gas station in the 3000 block Kennedy Boulevard shortly before 5:30 a.m. when a suspect stole a black Chevy Cruz then sped away heading towards the highway.
The suspect crashed into about four vehicles in the southbound truck route lanes near the Tonnelle Circle according to police.
The suspect ran from the scene and remains at-large.
State highway officials are expecting about 20 minutes delays in the southbound lanes at this time.
There were no serious injuries reported.
