Detectives for the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office are on the scene looking into a crash that has a motorcyclist dead in Jersey City at this time.
According to preliminary reports, the crash happened at around 2:15 p.m. in the vicinity of Bergen Avenue and Morton Place where emergency responders rushed to the scene after receiving reports of a crash with severe injuries.
Upon arrival, they found the injured motorcyclist who was pronounced dead a short time later.
The cause of the crash has not been determined.
