Police are on the scene of a shooting with a male shot at a location in Jersey City at this time.
According to police, gunfire rang out in the 70’s block of Fremont Street at approximately 9:40 a.m. sending officers to the scene to investigate.
When units arrived, they found a male around the age of 24-years-old suffering a bullet wound in his groin.
Police say the victim was rushed to Jersey City Medical Center in serious but stable condition.
Officers set up a crime scene where they searched for suspects and evidence.
This morning’s shooting makes five people injured by gunfire in less than 12 hours in Jersey City.
There were no arrests reported.
