"Give us all your money and get out of the car" is what two armed males told an unidentified woman reportedly sitting in her car at a Dunkin Donuts in Irvington Township early this morning -Thursday-.
According to preliminary reports, the armed carjacking happened at approximately 4:15 a.m. at the Dunkin Donuts located near the intersection of Coit and Chancellor Avenue.
In the second reported carjacking of a woman in the township since Sunday, police arrived at the scene and began a search for the masked suspects who stole the woman's 2016 Honda at gunpoint.
The vehicle has a reported NJ license plate number 'X91-HCE'.
We are awaiting public information on a reported violent carjacking of a woman that occurred in front of a sandwich shop on Orange Avenue in Irvington on Sunday where armed men robbed then stole the woman's white 2014 BMW after pointing a gun at her.
The victim was allegedly a current law enforcement officer from an unconfirmed Essex County town.
Residents in the Newark, Irvington, and East Orange are reporting a rash in carjackings of women, but officials have not released information on these accounts at this time.
