Police are reporting no injuries in a shots-fired incident that occurred in a Newark North Ward business this evening.
According to police, at approximately 7:10 p.m., a gunman entered the Royal Supermarket located at 576 Broadway and attempted to rob the establishment before firing about four rounds at employees.
Authorities are looking for a black male who wore dark clothing during the day incident.
Police say the masked suspect fled the scene on foot and remains at-large.
The inside is under investigation.
