There are non-life threatening injuries reported in a crash that involved a police vehicle a short time ago in East Orange.
The crash occurred at the intersection of Central Avenue and Evergreen Place at around 8:30 a.m. according to initial reports from the scene.
A female officer was taken to an area hospital after suffering a head injury.
The officer reportedly required stitches and her injuries were not reported as life threatening.
There were no other injuries immediately reported.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash.
