Emergency responders recovered the body of an unidentified person floating in a river in Union County Saturday morning.
A preliminary investigation indicated at approximately 10:45 a.m., police to the 1600 block of Essex Street after reports of a person in the water.
Upon arrival, police found the body in the water and began the process of recovery.
The Union County Prosecutor’s Office was notified of the finding, according to officials.
