Investigators are on the scene of a shooting with a person down at this time in Bellmawr (Camden County).
Police were called to the area of NJ-42 and I-75 shortly before 7 a.m. on reports of suspicious activities were they arrived to find a person shot inside a vehicle at that location.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene according to reports.
Police have the scene secured and have closed all southbound lanes on Rt. 42 at this time.
Expect delays on I-295 up to exit 29. Use the NJ Turnpike, Rt. 45, or Rt. 47 as your alternates as police investigate.
The motive for the shooting has not been determined at this time.
