A fatal shooting incident in Tenafly has prompted an investigation by local authorities, and the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office has been notified.
While details are still emerging, preliminary reports indicate that police responded to a shooting around 11:45 p.m. at the 400 block of Knickerbocker Road.
Upon arrival, police units discovered a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound at the location.
The unidentified individual was pronounced dead at the scene. As of 4:45 a.m., there have been no indications that the incident is being investigated as a homicide.
The investigation remains active and ongoing. Bergen County officials have promised to release additional information as it becomes available.
