Bergen County authorities are investigating a fatal crash that occurred Sunday night on US-46 in Saddle Brook.
The incident happened around 9:10 p.m. near 189 US-46, close to the Walmart.
Police responded to reports of a person down on the roadway. Emergency Medical Services were called to the scene, but the individual was pronounced dead upon arrival.
As part of the investigation, police temporarily closed US-46 to traffic.
No other injuries were reported.
The crash's circumstances remain under investigation, and authorities have not yet released additional details.
