Authorities in Ocean County are investigating a fatal crash that occurred early Wednesday morning in Lacey Township.
Police received a 911 call around 12:15 a.m. reporting a vehicle overturned near 2810 Dover Road.
Responding officers and firefighters discovered the vehicle with a person inside who was severely injured. Tragically, the individual was pronounced dead at the scene.
Details surrounding the cause of the crash remain under investigation.
Police have not yet released the victim's identity or additional information about the collision.
