New Jersey State Police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred Sunday night on I-95 in Bergen County, claiming the life of at least one person.
The incident took place around 10 p.m. near exit 71 in Englewood.
According to preliminary information, troopers responded to reports of a collision involving a car and a tractor-trailer in the northbound lanes.
Upon arrival, emergency responders found one person trapped inside the car.
Reports indicate that both an infant and the driver were removed from the vehicle, but it remains unconfirmed who succumbed to their injuries.
The crash remains under active investigation, and the New Jersey State Police will release further details as they become available.
