Police recovered the body of an unidentified person inside a bathroom of a restaurant in Newark on Friday evening.
According to preliminary reports, employees contacted authorities when they found the unconscious and unresponsive person inside the restroom of a Burger King located at Broad and Clay Street at around 6 p.m.
Police arrived at the Burger King and found the person then requested medical personnel to the scene.
The patient was pronounced dead at the scene. Store management temporarily closed the entrance that leads to the dining area of the establishment for the investgiation but continued drive-through business.
The were no reports of suspicious activities surrounding the person's death at this time.
