Police in Newark are on the search for two men who held up a gas station attendant at gunpoint while several customers watched in the city's South Ward.
For the third time in about a month, gunmen stormed a gas station with guns drawn on yesterday (Wednesday) at the Delta Gas Station located at Chancellor and Maple avenues.

According to preliminary reports, at around 6 p.m. a gas station attendant was beginning to pump gas for a female customer when two men came from nowhere with guns drawn and demanded cash from the employee.
The suspect, only described as two black males, fled the scene immediately after the robbery.
A customer's vehicle suffered some damage while possibly attempting to scurry away from the scene during the incident.
There were no serious injuries immediately reported.
The investigation is active, ongoing, and conducted by The Newark Police Department.
The suspects remain at-large.
