A late night crash in Howell left one person dead and authorities investigating.
The fatal crash occurred at around 10:45 p.m. on the southbound side of Rt. 9 at Bergerville Road according to authorities.
Rescue crews pulled one person from the vehicle shortly after arriving to the scene .
EMS transported the victim to an area hospital where they were pronounced dead a short time later.
The cause of the crash and identity of the victim has not been released at this time.
