There were non-life threatening injuries reported for one occupant of a vehicle that crashed then overturned at a location in Newark on Tuesday night.
According to police, the crash happened at around 7:10 p.m. near the intersection of Broad and New streets.
Police say the driver of the vehicle somehow lost control and crashed before overturning at that location.
One occupant reportedly self-extricated from the car but was treated then transported by EMS to the hospital for further evaluation.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
