HCST's Music and Audio Technology Department and the Jersey City Theater Center will host a performance of the award-winning hip-hop theater production Verses at Work by Malik Work.
Officials said this one-person show connects the world of hip-hop and jazz, as well as the early millennium nightlife of the Lower East Side of Manhattan.
According to officials, the production combines verse, video, live music, musical theater, hip-hop, spoken word, dance, and theatrical monologue in a captivating, vibrant, and energetic show.
The production at the Earl W. Byrd Center was made possible by an Arts in Education grant from the Hudson County Office of Cultural & Heritage Affairs/Tourism Development.
Officials say the performance will be held on Tuesday, January 10th, in the County Prep Theater at noon at 1:30 PM.
