An attack on a correction officer at the Hudson County Jail in Kearny has authorities investigating.
The correction officers was rushed to Jersey City Medical Center after being attacked, punched in the head by an inmate at around 4:30 p.m. Sunday evening.
The officer was expected to make a full recovery according to authorities.
The incident is under investigation.
