Authorities in Newark took two juvenile suspects in custody after a foot pursuit in the city's South Ward.
Police followed a vehicle on Clinton Ave. that refused to stop after several motor vehicle violations. A check of the vehicle's registration revealed that the car was reported stolen.
The suspects led police to the area of Dayton Street and Frelinghuysen Ave. where the two suspects bailed from the vehicle forcing a pursuit through the neighborhood.
Cops setup a perimeter in the area where they located, apprehended both suspects.
EMS evaluated the suspects for non-life threatening injuries.
There were no other injuries reported.
