An officer responding to a medical emergency was involved in a crash Friday afternoon that sent him to the hospital with injuries.
According to authorities, the crash occurred on Williamstown Road in Winslow Township at approximately 1:30 p.m.
Officials say the cruiser - which was responding to a medical emergency - collided with another vehicle and a utility pole.
The officer was airlifted via helicopter to Cooper University Hospital in Camden for treatment.
Police say the driver of the other vehicle sustained only minor injuries.
