As Newark wakes up to a cool 65 degrees this Thursday, September 5th, the National Weather Service reports a day of beautiful weather ahead with plenty of sunshine and low humidity.
While Newark enjoys mild morning temperatures, parts of North Jersey are experiencing even cooler conditions.In Morristown, it’s a chilly 56 degrees, and Sussex County residents are feeling a brisk 48 degrees, so a jacket may be necessary for those heading to the bus stop.
However, temperatures will gradually warm up as the morning progresses.
The forecast for today calls for sunny skies and a high near 78 degrees, with light winds becoming southeast at 5 to 9 mph by the morning.
Tonight, expect partly cloudy skies with a low of around 62 degrees.
