North Jersey is starting the workweek with cool fall-like temperatures this Monday morning.Newark is currently at 62 degrees, while areas in Warren, Sussex, and Bergen counties are waking up to even chillier conditions, with temperatures around 55 degrees.
Cloudy skies are making the region feel noticeably cooler compared to Sunday.
While forecasters expect some breaks in the clouds today, sunshine will be limited, and most areas will remain dry.
According to the National Weather Service, today’s high will reach near 71 degrees, with a northeast wind around 7 mph.
Tonight, expect mostly cloudy skies and a low of around 58 degrees. It’s a good idea to pack a jacket, especially for the cooler morning hours.
