Linden Police are looking into a reported armed robbery of a convenience store that occurred on Saturday night in the city.
According to preliminary reports, police were called to the Quick Buy Food Store located at 1108 West St. Georges Avenue after they received reports of an armed robbery in progress shortly before 10 p.m.
Units arrived at the scene and were told by employees that two black males entered the establishment armed with a knife and demanded cash from the cashier according to reports.
The suspects took an undetermined amount of cash before they fled the scene on foot.
There were physical injuries reported.
