Good Monday morning, NJ!We’re waking up to brisk temperatures at 46 degrees here in Newark, with colder spots near or below freezing in parts of Sussex and Passaic County.
Clouds are rolling in, and while the day promises to warm up a bit, it will still feel chilly, especially during the morning hours.
A warm jacket and hat are highly recommended for those getting kids ready for the bus stop or walking to school.
According to the National Weather Service, this afternoon should see some relief as temperatures reach a high near 60 degrees, though a mix of clouds will keep it cool.
Winds will remain light from the southeast, but tonight, expect steady temps around 55 with mostly cloudy skies.
