However, the weather is set to change significantly as Saturday approaches.
According to the National Weather Service, today will remain mostly sunny, with highs reaching 37 degrees. However, wind chill factors will make it feel like it's between 20 and 30 degrees.
Calm winds will persist through the day. Tonight, the area faces a slight chance of freezing rain before transitioning to rain after 1 a.m., with temperatures hovering around 29 degrees.
Residents should prepare for a wet weekend ahead and stay safe on potentially slick roads.
