Cold Morning in Newark as Temperatures Hover in the 20s with Wind Chill in the Teens

Residents in Newark and the North Jersey region woke up to a frigid morning on Wednesday, with temperatures at 28 degrees as of 4:30 a.m.

While the wind will ease up throughout the day, the wind chill factor will make it feel like the teens during early morning hours.

According to the National Weather Service, today will bring mostly sunny skies, but the cold air remains dominant, with a high near 38 degrees and wind chill values between 10 and 20.AdLater tonight, there’s a 50 percent chance of snow showers after 1 a.m. as the skies turn mostly cloudy, with temperatures dropping to around 27 degrees.
