Good morning, North Jersey!It’s another chilly start to the day at 4:30 a.m., with temperatures hovering around 39 degrees and feeling even colder.
Newark sits at a brisk 35 degrees, Morristown is below freezing at 31, Sparta chills at 29, and Cherry Hill holds steady at the freezing point of 32.
According to the National Weather Service, patchy frost will last until around 8 a.m., so bundle up if you’re heading out early.
The forecast calls for increasing clouds as we approach a high of 48 degrees, with a light northeast wind at about 7 mph. Tonight will stay cloudy, with lows around 34.
Looking ahead, there’s good news! We’ll start seeing temperatures climb into the 60s on Friday and throughout the weekend, bringing a welcome break from this winter-like chill.Enjoy your day, NJ!
