Plainfield Police are investgiating a shooting that caused injuries in a location in the city on Friday night.
According to preliminary reports, several rounds of gunfire rang out on Clinton Avenue at approximately 11:30 p.m. sending police officers to the scene where they found two victims struck by bullets at that location.
Witnesses say a gunman arrived in the area and shot two people at close range then ran from the scene.
The victims were transported to the hospital suffering serious injuries according to reports.
The motive for the shooting remains under investigation and the shooter is at-large.
