Authorities have identified the 52-year-old woman who was struck and killed by a van Tuesday morning in Somerville.
According to authorities, Christine McConnachie, of Clinton Township, was crossing the intersection of East Main and Grove streets sometime around 9 a.m. when she was struck by a van.
Officials say McConnachie was transported to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, where she later died of her injuries.
According to police, the driver remained at the scene.
