Police are asking for public's help in identifying a male accused of attempting to rob a passenger on a New Jersey Transit bus headed from Passaic to Clifton at gunpoint.
According to police, on Oct. 11, a passenger on a Clifton-bound bus told police a struggle ensued with a male - armed with a gun - after he demanded that he turn over his valuables.
During the struggle, a 15-year-old boy sustained a facial injury after he was inadvertently struck in the face with the gun.
The armed suspect then got off the bus and was last seen fleeing on Main Avenue, police said.
The weapon was not fired during the incident.
