Two Clifton teens were charged with robbery Friday after they allegedly robbed several juveniles at a local skate park.
According to police, officers responded to the skate park on Third Street shortly before 6 Friday afternoon for a report of a robbery.
Police arrived to find two 15-year-old Passaic residents and a 17-year-old Clifton resident who reported to them that they were approached by three masked individuals who stole cash from them and they beat the 17-year-old victim.
A second vĂctim was also assaulted, but no immediate information was available as to the extent of the victim's injuries.
According to reports, both victims declined hospital treatment.
A search of the area led police to the arrest of two of the three suspects, who were found in a Clinton Avenue backyard.
The suspects were both charged with robbery, aggravated assault, and resisting arrest in connection with the robbery. The third suspect, remains at large.
