Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli announced the arrest of Fabian G. Rodriguez, 39, of Clifton, on charges of sexual assault by sexual contact and endangering the welfare of a child.
On Monday, October 5, 2015, members of the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit and the Passaic Police Department arrested Fabian G. Rodriguez after learning that he engaged in sexually inappropriate conduct with a 9-year-old girl.
St. Mary’s Hospital, in Passaic, contacted the Passaic Police Department after the sexual misconduct was reported to them.
Rodriguez was charged with one (1) count each of sexual assault by sexual contact and endangering the welfare of a child.
Bail for Rodriguez was set by the Honorable Debra Irwin, J.M.C. of the Passaic City Municipal Court at $100,000.00 with no ten percent option. He was order to have no contact with the victim or any children under the age of eighteen and must surrender his passport as conditions of his bail.
Rodriguez was remanded to the Passaic County Jail in lieu of bail.
A 39-year-old Clifton man is accused of sexually assaulting a 9-year-old girl, the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office said Tuesday.

Rodriguez was arrested Monday after officials at St. Mary's Hospital in Passaic alerted police about the sexual abuse, the release said.
Authorities said Rodriguez was ordered held at the Passaic County Jail on $100,000 bail, with no 10 percent option.
