Clifton Firefighters Battle Multi-Alarm Blaze in Early Morning House Fire

Firefighters in Clifton responded to a multi-alarm house fire early Monday morning at 137 Madeline Avenue.Physical TherapyHeavy fire broke out around 2:15 a.m., prompting local fire crews to respond immediately.

Upon arrival, firefighters encountered heavy smoke billowing from the two-and-a-half-story wood-framed house.

As the flames spread through the roof, threatening nearby homes, fire officials on the scene escalated the response to a second and third alarm for additional manpower.

According to reports, firefighters stretched several hoses to bring water to the fire but initially faced challenges securing a solid water supply. 

Despite the difficulties, crews managed to bring the blaze under control within about an hour. Fortunately, no severe injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire remains under active investigation as authorities work to determine what sparked the early morning blaze.
