Clear, Mild Start to Friday in North Jersey as Rosh Hashanah Begins

North Jersey is waking up to a beautiful and clear morning at 61 degrees as the week comes to a close. Happy Friday and Rosh Hashanah to all who celebrate!

While the day is expected to be mostly pleasant, dense fog has been reported in Sussex, Morris, and Warren counties, though it is expected to lift as the morning progresses.

According to the National Weather Service, today’s forecast calls for partly sunny skies with a high near 71 degrees. Calm winds will shift to the south at 5 to 8 mph by the afternoon.

Tonight, there is a 30% chance of showers after 2 a.m., with mostly cloudy skies and temperatures holding steady around 68 degrees.
