Authorities reported non-life threatening injuries for an incident where a child was struck by a vehicle in Newark Wednesday evening.
Police and EMS responded to the intersection of Jones Street and Springfield Avenue at around 6 p.m. for a report of a child pedestrian struck by a car.
Upon their arrival, they found the female victim suffering non-life threatening injuries at that location.
EMS transported the victim to University Hospital where she is expected to be ok.
Newark Police are looking into what caused the incident.
