A child that was struck by a vehicle in the township earlier his afternoon has authorities investigating.
The incident happened at around 4 p.m. near the Berkerly Terrace School where emergency responders rushed to the scene to find the boy laying on the ground after reportedly being struck by a vehicle.
EMS transported the child to the hospital where his injuries were not immediately reported as life threatening.
The child (who was reported to be around 6-years-old) had recently exited a school bus shortly before he was struck.
UPDATE: The child was struck by a school and has a leg injury according to family members.
