If you are in the 400 block of Hawthorne Avenue, emergency responder activity is for a pedestrian struck by a vehicle at that location.
The teenage boy was hit by the vehicle shortly before 7:30 p.m. rushing EMS to the scene where they found the boy laying on the pavement conscious.
EMS transported the boy to University Hospital where he appeared to have sustained leg injuries according to initial reports.
Police are investigating the exact cause of the incident.
