Police closed all lanes on Route 38 for an investigation after a crash left one person dead early this morning in Cherry Hill.
Emergency responders rushed to the scene of the crash that happened at around 3:30 a.m. in the eastbound lanes of the highway near Coles Avenue where they arrived to locate a crashed vehicle that ignited into flames at that location.
Crews located at least one person unconscious and out of the vehicle suffering serious injuries according to reports.
The victim was later pronounced dead a short time later.
Authorities are attempting to determine the cause of the crash.
The identity of the victim has not release pending proper notification of family members.
